"My home was just destroyed by hurricane Helene. Obviously not an ideal situation. Despite 10s of thousands of destroyed homes, Tamara and team helped me navigate complicated 3rd party insurance situations. Filed my flood claim for me same day because I had no internet access and because of their quick action, I was the first in my neighborhood to have an adjuster out. Unreal how incredibly responsive, engaged, and helpful Tamara has been during this crazy time. Cannot say enough nice things. Thank you!"

"I was with State Farm for 21 years. I was with Neil Shoaf for 10+ years, when relocating to Tampa. My credit card for auto-payment expired and without me realizing, Neil Shoaf stopped receiving payments. I didn’t receive one phone call from Neil Shoaf’s team asking for my updated card information. They canceled my policy, without me knowing. I was driving for 4 months with no car insurance. When I realized on my bank statement they weren’t charging me, I realized it was due to my old card being on file, so I called Neil Shoaf to provide my updated card information. Neil Shoaf informed me that my policy was canceled a few months ago. When I asked why they didn’t contact me, they said, “X person usually interacts with you and she’s not here right now.” Further, when I asked to restart the policy, they informed me the price would double due to the lapse in coverage. I was a 21 year State Farm member with no accidents. This is how I was treated. Clearly they are so big they don’t care about their customers. This was unacceptable- the fact that you can be a State Farm member for 20+ years who never filed a claim and they will cancel your policy without one phone call to get your new card information is baffling and negligent. I changed my auto insurance to Geico and the policy is significantly cheaper. Highly recommend staying away from Neil Shoaf’s team."

After Wednesday's phone conversation with the Neil Shoaf agency, I decided to find another insurance company. For the same exact coverage, I saved 48% using another major carrier. Neil Shoaf took advantage of my loyalty. I recommend you look elsewhere for insurance."

"I’am 79 yrs old I have been with State Farm since 2010 the office associates are very professional and nice I have no complaints about them. But now as of today I have one ( my car ins. Went up again and now it’s $215.46 I always had full coverage now I have to go to PIP and Liability!"
